About us

Three generations of the Underhill family, decorators at work
Brian, Roy & Ian Underhill completing decorating & damp proofing work at Brook House, Dean Close School, Cheltenham - 1984

Underhill Decorating & Property Renovations was formed in 1967 by brothers Brian & Roy Underhill. Brian's son Ian joined the firm in 1981 — the same year our workmanship was recognised with an NHBC Pride in the Job award, won in the award's very first year. Ian now works alongside his own son Stan, with a team of highly experienced specialist sole traders.

From refreshing a single room to full property renovations, Ian & Stan offer specialist decorating and a comprehensive list of renovation services across Cheltenham and Gloucestershire — carried out with the pride of a family name that's now in its third generation of the trade.
