Privacy policy
Who we are
Underhill Decorators & Property Renovation, based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is the data controller for this website. Questions? Email [email protected].
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, phone number and message. We collect nothing else.
When you submit the form we also send a confirmation email to the address you gave, so you have a record of your enquiry.
Cookies and measurement
A cookie banner appears on your first visit. Until you choose “Accept all”, no analytics or advertising cookies run at all — the only cookie set is the one remembering your choice itself.
If you accept, Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies so we can see how people find the website (which pages, which adverts) and measure the enquiries our advertising generates. Google may use this data for its own purposes under its privacy policy. If you choose “Necessary only”, none of these cookies are ever set.
Third parties
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the contact form is submitted by a human (bot protection), and our hosting provider stores the emails we receive. When something on the page or the contact form fails to work, an anonymous error report goes to our monitoring service (GlitchTip) so we can fix it — it contains no advertising trackers and follows no one around the web. Google processes the measurement cookies described above, but only after you accept them. No other processors are involved.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are deleted after 12 months. Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months; Google Analytics event data is retained by Google for 14 months by default.
Your rights
You can request access to, or erasure of, your data at any time — just email us using the link above and we will respond promptly. You can also change your cookie choice at any time:
